“Dr. Wiedeman has done an amazing job in correctly identifying our needs in order for us to have the best vision.”
“Dr. Wiedeman has done an amazing job in correctly identifying our needs in order for us to have the best vision. She always answers all of our questions with valuable suggestions, and all of the staff at the practice are helpful and courteous. In the past, my children Nick and Amanda have been misdiagnosed by other eye doctors and had really negative experiences – but fortunately, we met Dr. Wiedeman and she changed that for my entire family. We feel comfortable with her diagnoses and enjoy coming to the eye doctor – she always goes above and beyond for our family and I am sure she does the same with all of her patients. Dr. Wiedeman is a compassionate, knowledgeable and exceptional doctor – we have referred several friends to her because we have the utmost confidence that anyone would be thrilled with her treatment.”
“I am very grateful to Dr. Wiedeman and the staff of Del Negro and Senft for getting me in so quickly and taking the time to help. They definitely saved my vacation (and my family’s) from becoming quite unpleasant.”
“During the week of Labor Day my family and I vacationed in Ocean Grove, N.J., for five days. Late one evening I very suddenly felt a foreign object in my right eye. I proceeded to try to wash it out with all the usual methods, but to no avail. The object became trapped far under my upper eye lid and would not come out. I knew I needed to go somewhere for help. I considered the local urgent care, but felt they might not have the necessary expertise for an eye emergency. As such, I looked up local optometrists, as my own optometrist back home had once before removed some basement dirt from my eye. Del Negro and Senft in Neptune City was only a few minutes drive and opened the earliest in the morning of the local optometrists, so I decided to call them.
I was taken back by a doctor’s assistant and seen by Dr. Wiedeman minutes after arriving. She quickly determined the location of the embedded object and went ahead to remove it from my upper eye lid. This of course is no easy task, especially as I do not wear contacts and have never been comfortable with anything or anyone touching my eyes, and also, as Del Negro and Senft is not my regular optometrist and I had never been there before. After removing the object, Dr. Wiedeman also took time to talk to me about my mild dry-eye syndrome and to suggested methods of coping with it.
I am very grateful to Dr. Wiedeman and the staff of Del Negro and Senft for getting me in so quickly and taking the time to help. They definitely saved my vacation (and my family’s) from becoming quite unpleasant.
Were I living on the upper part of the Jersey Shore, I would be very pleased to have Del Negro and Senft as my eye doctors.
